I have nearly 4,000 subscribers and, at one time, had over 200 videos. I recently deleted most of them for various reasons. It isn't a science channel per se (I've mostly spent the last 3 years ranting about religion and politics), but I'm moving that way for now. I am currently two episodes into a series I call "2012 Doomsday." So far, it's covered killer solar flares and Nibiru. I reference this site heavily in the latter.

The video starts with a splash screen of the website www.maya12-21-2012.com (yes, I am deliberately escaping the web link so that I do not give them any traffic). Then it identifies Haramein as "Physicist Nassim Haramein", stating that he 'solved the mystery of Nibiru', that it was visible in 2003 and then "a miracle happened…"

At about 1:55 into that video Haramein is showing some NASA images off of SOHO, which shows a comet passing by. Haramein then proclaims that it is twice the size of Jupiter, showing his audience the circle representing the solar disk, and claims that such an object would be very massive. At 2:40, he claims that "astronomers thought it was going to hit the sun, and that's why they thought we were toast".

at 4:00 he claims that the comet was "two weeks in advance of the Sumerian text", which is also false (the "sumerian text" doesn't predict comets).

He rambles on a bit, and then concludes that "somebody is taking care of us".

C-NEAT was supposed to break up and fall into the Sun in 2003, but it whirled back out into space. There was some wacko on one of my videos recently posting comments about this very thing, claiming it was Jupiter-sized and other such nonsense. You need to learn that, when people say things, they aren't necessarily saying things that are meaningful or true. Therefore, in science, we demand evidence.

Comet 17P/Holmes, to be precise! It did let off a massive amount of shiny that made it, temporarily, larger than the Sun!

It took a photo I'm guessing came from the satellite watching the event of Comet NEAT (Yes, this moron is talking about Comet NEAT) going around the sun and being nailed with a CME and letting off a bright (But not as bright as onlookers would have liked!) flash, which I guess made it look bigger than Jupiter? I honestly don't know.

The fact is, if a freaking comet bigger than Jupiter tore through our solar system, it would have caused unspeakable damage to everything.

Even without watching I think it's safe to say that he is wrong. There is nothing new whatsoever to his spirutalistic crap, and most of what he says has been proven to be fake/part of the hoax earlier. He simply recycles all the crap one could easilly find out there..

You're certainly welcome to believe that, but the fact is that the odds of any given comet or asteroid colliding with the earth are incredibly low.

It's just silly to think that a civilization would have been able to predict where a body in space would be in a thousand or more years into the future with the naked eye.

While true, there are "dark comets" we now have other ways to detect darkened or black objects unless of course they're hiding behind the Sun like the mythical Nibiru.

The question that I have is simply this; This theory is strictly based on the speculation that we can't see a dark comet, yes? Now, think about this; We can detect Black Holes. They're black. Absence of light and space. Virtually undetectable yet, we have detected them. The thought that we can detect a Black Hole or other darkened objects but not a dark comet is ridiculous.
