I would like to know what you guys conclusion.

Complete bunk and mostly already dealt with elsewhere on this site.

However, we reach right angle position between Earth, ELE and the Sun around June 5th, so ELE will be blocked by the Sun in the daylight sky.

That's strange because obaeyens, one of our members, took photos of the comet on June 18th, as you can see here.

Bottom of the page is where Obaeyens posted images taken a mere few days ago. Of course anybody with a telescope can disprove what conspiracy nuts say, but the gullible people taken in by it usually have no scientific knowledge and lack critical thinking skills.

Coming from a YouTuber whose 'about me' is nothing but the "I'm a truth seeker, you all need to wake up and believe me" cliché, I'm willing to bet NASA have said no such thing.

Some people are also pointing to NASA's preparedness message BELOW that made specific mention to all the coastlines in the U.S. as a cryptic red flag message….

There is a really, really big difference between being prepared for known threats and being prepared for objects that are no threat or do not exist. I must stress this point. Preparing for earthquakes if you live in an earthquake zone is a smart thing to do. Preparing for a comet that will only ever get to 21 million miles away from Earth and has no influence on the planet through any known physical law is not a smart thing to do. It's a stupid thing to do, it's unnecessary, it's like preparing yourself for a dinosaur stampede - it's just not going to happen.

This was a message of "You know what guys, I think we can do better, I think we ought to be doing more to help you out in your disaster planning." It was NOT a message of "get yourselves together and meet us at the bunkers, it's all going down any moment now", which is all proponents want it to be.

The other argument I've had with this (and by now it borders on heated arguments) is that "it came from a space agency, it must be important". Except for the fact that none of the other hundred odd space agencies are doing such preparation, because they - like NASA - know that the likes of Elenin is a pathetic comet of little (if any) significance.

BTW, the below video states the comet is under "intelligent control", so it could hypothetically "change course".

Jcattera wouldn't know what he was looking at if you labelled it for him, but like many proponents he's got a cult following of idiots who hang on his every word, even when he's proven wrong. To his 'credit', if you could use such a phrase for jcattera, it's not his video but a mirror. Mirroring nonsense and spreading it to thousands of gullible followers still doesn't make the content correct, but these people are hoping you don't bother checking and instead soak it all in and take it at face value.

Now I ought to say what I really think of Elenin, because it's been bubbling away for some time now and I'm on the verge of popping, so I'll bold for effect.

Elenin is pathetic. It's not the biggest comet, it's not the brightest comet, it's not the fastest comet, it's not the closest comet. All it will ever be is the flavour of the month for nutjobs who don't have the slightest clue what they're talking about.

You'll be able to watch this non event come and go in a few months time, and then you'll be able to watch the YouTube tags for Elenin gradually fade away as something equally ridiculous takes it's place, and this will happen all over again, where we spend months trying to explain to the same people why the next object is no threat, and the one after that isn't, and the one after that, and 2012 has come and gone by this point but still we'll be able to see the same pattern of nonsense spread through the Internet.

So that's my conclusion. Or rant, however you want to read it.

The stupidest claim I have ever seen. If NASA is spraying that part of space, the we should see a giant cloud in space just like a comet tail!
And it would actually obscure astronomers view to view their favourite clusters.

If it cannot be seen then why could I then photograph it?
If they spraying a dark cloud then why can I still see stars at that part?

And I suppose chem trails as well, so we have mind altering thoughts? Or was it an astronaught that dropped some black paint that is now floating freely in space…. Actually I reckon it is a huge black blanket held up with all the satilites and they have pin holes in them for the stars… its to stop the aliems getting in…
